Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a minimum or maximum order?

Some items are subject to a minimum order, this will become evident when you checkout. We still might be able to dispatch smaller items if you give us a call. Please call us for large or trade orders as we might be able to offer a better price than listed on our website.

Does the price include delivery?

The price you see during the final checkout process is delivered price. Sometime you will be asked to enter your postcode so the delivery price can be included.

Do you deliver Saturdays?

A. We do not generally deliver on Saturdays other than in special circumstances.

Does the price include VAT?

All final prices quoted when you checkout are always fully inclusive delivered prices so there are no nasty hidden extras.

How much notice do I need to give for delivery?

For turf orders we need 48 hours notice. For most other items we can offer 3-5 working days.

Do you deliver to where I live?

We are a local store based near Salisbury and only delivery within 15 miles of our depot.  This covers the SP postcode (excluding SP11) and covers some BA postcodes.

How much is delivery?

The delivery charge is calculated by quantity, variety of product, weight and the delivery postcode? The price you see in the checkout includes delivery.

Will I receive an invoice or receipt?

The confirmation email is your invoice and receipt.

Do you provide laying service?

We offer full landscaping service in Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire and Somerset. Please contact for details

How is the turf delivered?

The delivery is kerb side, using forklift or manual offload. We do our best to get products as close as possible to your project using our truck mounted forklift, please contact for details.

Do I have to be home when the delivery is made?

It can be arranged for the delivery to be left without signature.

Do I need to use top soil underneath my turf?

You only need top soil if your own soil is of poor quality or you need to make up levels?

What do I do with the pallet?

Unfortunately we don’t re-collect the pallets, so we ask our customers to dispose of the pallet safely.

How do I use the fertiliser?

Use fertliser sparingly over the prepared ground, lightly rake over, lay your turf on top and water in. Only use the correct quantity as per the instructions on the bag. Our fertiliser gets the new turf off to great start and encourages fast rooting. Do be careful as too much fertiliser can damage the grass so if you have any over then simply make the bag airtight and keep safely until the lawn requires the next feed.
